14. – 15. June 2023 | Ulm, Germany

Organised by our project partner ZSW (Zentrum für Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung Baden-Württemberg), the Ulm Electrochemical Talks celebrated its 30th anniversary with more than 300 participants. Leading experts, scientists, and industry professionals gathered at the conference to exchange knowledge, discuss emerging trends, and explore the future of batteries and fuel cells.

Project Presentation

Our project partner Dr. Thomas Wöhrle from BMW presented the greenSPEED project during his presentation “Battery-Cell Technology Development at BMW”. As the WP1 leader, BMW is leading the Li-Ion cell specifications and requirements for automotive applications and the validation protocols and gave more insights into the greenSPEED project.

Poster Presentation

Jonas Neumeyer from ZSW presented a poster during the conference. The poster outlined the “solvent-free processing of cathodes for high-energy lithium ion batteries”. ZSW, as the WP3 leader, is in charge of developing a pioneering solvent-free extrusion process for LIB cathodes and its transfer into an industrial-suited roll-to-roll manufacturing process within the greenSPEED project.
