On 26th November 2024, our Battery Heroes colleagues BATMACHINE hosted a workshop on Battery Manufacturing Machinery & Battery Cell Production in Braunschweig, Germany. The workshop focused on key developments and innovations in the battery manufacturing sector, with particular attention to manufacturing equipment and cell production technologies in Europe and globally.
The workshop brought together participants from different projects and of course, we could not say no to this fantastic opportunity! Representing greenSPEED, our colleague Dr. Alice Hoffmann from ZSW joined them in person and gave a presentation on “Key developments in LIB cell manufacturing equipment at ZSW (Germany) and its role in the European greenSPEED project”. The workshop led to interesting discussions on how a successful evolution of a battery mass production in Europe could best be supported.
We thank the BATMACHINE consortium for organising and hosting the workshop. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share ideas, and learn from each other!
