After 42 months of research and innovation, the greenSPEED project officially concluded in December 2025. The final in-person meeting took place in Graz, Austria, hosted by Virtual Vehicle. Consortium partners came together to review the progress achieved during the final six months, reflect on the overall project results, and discuss key technical and organisational lessons learned across all work packages.
The meeting also provided a great opportunity to combine the final greenSPEED discussions with the Battery Innovation Days 2025, fostering exchange with the wider battery community.
greenSPEED delivered important advances in sustainable, solvent-free battery manufacturing, contributing to Europe’s ambition for greener and more competitive lithium-ion battery production.
