5. & 6. November 2025 | Braunschweig, Germany
The greenSPEED project was represented at the International Battery Production Conference (IBPC) 2025, through its active involvement in the Battery Heroes cluster. IBPC is one of the leading international forums for innovation in battery manufacturing, bringing together experts from industry, research, and academia to discuss advances in large-scale battery production.
Key discussions at IBPC 2025 focused on next-generation manufacturing technologies, with particular attention on dry electrode coating as a critical enabler for more efficient, scalable, and sustainable battery production. These topics strongly align with greenSPEED’s work on solvent-free electrode manufacturing and energy-efficient cell production.
While greenSPEED partners were not physically at the conference, the project actively contributed via the Battery Heroes cluster, engaging in knowledge exchange and collaborative discussions with European battery researchers, industry representatives, and policymakers.
We would like to thank our GIGABAT colleagues, who kindly shared the pictures below along with insights from the event. These materials highlight the conference atmosphere, the interactive sessions and the innovative approaches discussed across the European battery research ecosystem.
