The greenSPEED consortium met to kick off the project at Virtual Vehicle in Graz, Austria. The participants used the time for presentations, exciting discussions and of course a social event to further refine the vision of greenSPEED. In addition, there was a guided tour of the Virtual Vehicle Battery Lab, providing an insight into Virtual Vehicle’s work.
Over a total period of 42 months, the 11 partners from 5 different countries are working together on greenSPEED to develop green and sustainable processes for electrode production. The aim is to secure Europe’s leadership in the production of batteries with a lower carbon footprint by improving production processes and establishing them in Europe.
