Our project partner Alice Hoffmann from Zentrum für Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) was part of the Dry Coating Forum in Dresden. She presented the Dry Extrusion Process for Roll-to-roll Production of Nickel Rich Cathodes for LIB. Dry battery electrode coating is expected to make a significant contribution to a greener and more efficient battery production.
ZSW, as the WP3 leader, is in charge of developing a solvent-free extrusion process for LIB cathodes and its transfer into an industrial-suited roll-to-roll manufacturing process within the greenSPEED project.
